“I feel better, so I’m glad. Obviously, air pollution does not really do good. But the point is, We have a very good relationships with Kiki, it helps Me so much that I’m here alone in Wuhan. We can also cooperate a lot in the Doubles, as We have always been able to communicate well. Our first opponent could have been more difficult and tricky, but their style suit Us well. We played well and wise, and I’m glad” – said Timi.

 

In the 23-minute opening act, Timi and Kiki Mladenovic won their opponents serve to 30 after 1:0, and in the fourth game they had another two break points. Christian and Santamaria saved both, then also hold their serve after 4:1.

 

The 1st seeded pair finished the set confidently, after 4: 2. Timi and Kristina Mladenovic brought their own game to 0, then lost only a single rally in the next game.

 

The second set was also smooth! Though Timi and her partner lost the break advantage after 3:1, they immediately replied. The Hungarian-French duo won their opponent’s serve to 30, then after 5:2, they also lost only two rallies.
