WTA Finals 2015: the draw of the Doubles Event

23/10/2015 – Timi and Kristina Mladenovic will play in the Red Group.

On Friday, the drwas were made in singles and doubles at the year-ending WTA Finals in Singapore. Timi and her Frech partner, Kristina Mladenovic will play in the Red Group. The opponents are: Martina HINGIS, Sania MIRZA (Swiss, Indian), Raquel KOPS-JONES, Abigail SPEARS (USA) and Andrea HLAVACKOVA-Lucie HRADECKA (Czech).

 

The White Group: Bethanie MATTEK-SANDS-Lucie SAFAROVA (USA, Czech), Caroline GARCIA, Katarina SREBOTNIK (French, Slovenian), Hao Ching CHAN, Yung Jan CHAN (Taiwanese), Garbine MUGURUZA, Carla SUAREZ-NAVARRO (Spanish).

 

The two best team of each group will advance to the semifinal.

 

This year, Timi and Kristina Mladenovic won the doubles event in Dubai, Marrakech and Rome, and also advanced to the semifinal in Sydney, Miami and s’Hertogenbosch.

The Hlavackova-Hradecka duo triumphed in 2011 at Roland Garros and in 2013 at the aus Open. They were also finalist in 2012 at Wimbledon, at the US Open and at the London Olympics.
