The match lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes.

 

In the 29-minute first set, Blinkova won her opponent’s serve to 30 after 2:1, then saved her serve from 30-40 in the seventh game. After that, the Russian player also closed the opening act as a receiver.

 

The second set already brought a lot more chances, but unfortunately Timi couldn’t turn around. Blinkova saved three break points in the opening game and then broke to 15. In the third game, Blinkova intercepted another break ball, and after that she served very well.

 

Timi turned the fourth game from 15-40 and then came up to 2:4, but in the end Blinkova was more accurate again.
