On Friday, the main draw was made for doubles at the third Grand Slam tournament of the season: Timi and Kristina Mladenovic will meet Eri Hozumi and Miyu Kato.

 

Timi is 4th, while her French partner is 8th in the World Rankings: the Hungarian-French team was seeded 1st in Wimbledon.

Eri Hozumi (born: 17 February, 1994) is 211st in the World Rankings, her career best position was 29th (30th January, 2017). So far, the Japanese players has won 1 WTA Tour and 18 ITFs in doubles. A few weeks ago, on the side of Makoto Ninomiya she was finalist at Roland Garros, the won the QF 7:6, 6:3 against Timi and Mladenovic.

 

Miyu Kato (born: 21 November, 1994) is 165th in the World Rankings, with a career best position of 30th (30 January, 2017). So far, the Japanese players have won 1 WTA Tour, 1 WTA125s and 11 ITFs in this genre.

 

Timi and Kristina Mladenovic were finalists in 2014, while in 2015 they reached the SF at Wimbledon.
