Vinci began the the 37-minute first set very well: after 1:0 she broke her opponent to 30, then led 3:0. Timi saved the second service game from 15-40, then she broke the Defending Champion to 30. The Hungarian youngster equalized to 3:3, from 0-40.
But after 4:3, Vinci broke her rival again, then hold her service game to 0.
