15/07/2016 – The 23-year old Hungarian player withdrew from the Stanford WTA competition.
A little change in Timi’s planned tournament schedule: unlike the previous plan, she will not play in Stanford, instead she resumes her 2016 season at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
“I decided with My coach, that I finally skipping next week’s WTA tournament. I was able to rest only a few days after Wimbledon, I began my preparation on Wednesday. But I feel that the Stanford tournament is still too early. I need to recharge My body, I wanted to prepare properly my game, physically and mentally for the long overseas period” – said Timi.
The 23-year old Hungarian player will in singles and doubles in Montreal, according the plans. In Canada, her partner is likely be Daria Kasatkina (WTA-52), because Yarolava Shvedova will not enter the Rogers Cup. Then, Timi will play in Florianopolis, where she will play with Réka-Luca Jani, for the good Olympic preparation.
