19/11/2015 – The 22-year old Hungarian player saved a break point, then she broke her opponent a total of 4 times in the 68-minute match.

Timi played much better in her second round match, than in the debut. In the first round she struggled against the World No272 Tena Lukas, but in the last 16 she outplayed Elise Mertens.
At the beginning the 20-year old Belgian player saved three break points (after 1:0, and 2:1) with aces, but at the end Timi broke her. And after 3:1 the 4th seed Hungarian youngster totally controlled the game.
Timi served very well (7 ace in the first and second set) and received also dangerously. After 5:2 she won her opponent’s service game to 40, so she finished the opening act.
At the beginning of the second set Mertens saved two break point, but she kept the rhythm only till 2:2. Then Timi broke her to 30, and she finished the match after 5:2 with another break. The 4th seed Hungarian player again won the Belgian player’s serve to 30.
In the quarter-final Timi will meet the 7th seed Stefanie Vögele from Switzerland.
