25/10/2013 – Timi won the third match in Saguenay at the 50 000 ITF tournament, winning in two sets against Jessica Pegula.
The match lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes.

“I’am pleased that I won today! A was a little bit nervous before the match, Pegula is an unpleasant opponent. But fortunately I solved the task today. I served very well. she never reached a break point. I look forward to the semifinal!” – Timi said after the quarter- final.
The 42-minute first set bring a very close battle. The first seed Hungarian youngster served almost flawlessly, hit five aces without double fault. But Pegula did not complain about her own serves, till 5:5.
Then at 6:5 the 20-year-old Hungarian player pulled away to 40-0 as a receiver. The American opponent saved two set points, but couldn’t done that with the third chance.
In the second set Timi broke at 3:2, then hold her serve succesfully (7:5, 5:3).
At the end Timi had three match points and she lived with the second chance, reached the semifinal in Saguenay. Her next opponent will be the seventh seed Tunisian Ons Jabeur, who won 7:6, 2:6, 6:3 agains Marta Domachowska of Poland .
The 19-year-old Tunisian player is ranked 166th. Her career best was 162nd at 30th of September. During her career she has won 5 ITF singles titles: this year she celebrated in Tunis (25 000 USD), Fukuoka (50 000 USD), in Kurume (50 000 USD). In July, in the second round of the 235 000 USD tournament in Baku Jabeur defeated 6:2, 7:5 the World No 37 Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia.
