“I feel that we should’ve won the game, although the opponent played well. Unfortunately, today I started badly, it made me uncertain. In previous matches, I played better tennis. With the volleys I do not have a problem, but my baseline game was not good. Especially the returns…. But it was nice to play final. It’s good, that I could play as many matches and I exercised a lot. Maybe in Melbourne would not have been possible to train as much, ” – said Timi after the final match.
The Hungarian and the Luxembourgish player was the favourite, but the final proved, that the Spaniard’s ranking positions did not reflect the current knowledge and form.
