03/10/2016 – The 8th seed Hungarian-Kazakh pair lost only one game after 3:3.

The match lasted 59 minutes.

 

Difficult start, then a smooth triumph by Timi and Shvedova in Beijing.

 

In the 32-minute first set, until 3: 3 both double broke the opponent twice. Then the Hungarian-Kazakh duo took the control. After 4:3, Timi and Shvedova won the opponent’s serve to 15, and hold that advantage. In the next game, the 8th seed pair won their service game to 15.

 

The second set had developed very smoothly. Timi and Shvedova broke the opponent to 0 and 30, pulled away to 4:0. In the end, they won the last game to 30 as a receivers.

 

Timi and Shvedova will meet Timea Bacsinszky (WTA-437) and Jelena Ostapenko (WTA-124) in the next round.
