“Overall, it was a high quality match! For one and a half set, We found it hard to find the successful tactics against the Russian double. We needed a very good and aggressive game to get to the final set. There were very big rallies. The decisive tie-break is always the way it is. We made a few mistakes, it was 8-10 and not 10-8. But the game itself was very good. It showed Us that We could have a chance against everyone, because We played a very tight match against one of the top pairs. Overall, We have been successful in the last three weeks, I’m hoping that We will be able to play well with Andrea at the Roland Garros” – said Timi.

Timi and Andrea Hlaváčková faced one of the most experienced, best and most successful doubles in the World. The Hungarian-Czech pair fought and played very well and only very few missed for the sensational success.

In the 60-minute second act, the Russians broke the 4th seeds after 2:2, but Timi and Andrea Hlaváčková immediately leveled. After that, both pairs were impressed, so came the tie-break.
