Roland Garros 2018: defeat in Mixed doubles

The match lasted 58 minutes in Paris.

 

In the 24-minute opening act Zhang and Peers were much more confident and accurate. The Chinese-Australian pair broke the opponent to 40 in the fourth game, then won the 7th seeds service game to 30, after 5:2. Meanwhile, Timi and Bopanna had no chance for a break as a receivers.

 

The second set was much tighter. Zhang and Peers won their opponent’s serve to 40 in the opening game, but after 2:0 the Australian Open finalists broke back to 15. Timi and Bopanna led 40-30 in the seventh game, but could not lived with the chance as a receivers. And it was crucial.

 

After 4:3, the Chinese-Australian pair broke to 40, then hold their serve to 15.
