02/06/2017 – The Hungarian-Czech pair came back from a set and a break down, but one lost of serve was decisive in the final act.

The match lasted 2 hours 11 minutes in the French capital.
The 5th seed Hungarian-Czech pair was poorly served in the 37-minute first game. Timi and Hlaváčková were equalized twice (after 1:0 and 2:1), but after 3: 2 they only got to a break chance, without the crucial break. Olaru and Savchuk hold that important game, and after 5:3 they won the opponent’s serve, this time to 30.
At the start of the second set, the Hungarian-Czech pair served better, but after 3:2, they were in a big trouble. The opponent break them, then led 4:2, 40-15. But Timi and her partner came back to 4:4, then broke the rival again, this time to 0.
The 5th seed pair finished the 54-minute second set with a service game to 15.
In the final set, the Romanian-Ukrainian pair served firstly and it was a big advantage. The served well, and at 3:3, they won their serve to 40. And in the next game they broke the opponent again, to 15.
In the last game, Olaru and Savchuk lost only one rally.
Timi ended her appearance in Paris, after a week interval she will play on grass in the Netherlands.
