28/05/2015 – Timi and Alexander Peya won in two sets against Arantxa Parra Santonja and David Marrero in the opening round.
The match lasted 70 minutes.

Timi one year ago played her first Mixed Doubles tournament and she advanced to the semifinal at Roland Garros with Eric Butorac. Then they reached the 3rd round at Wimbledon. After that they lost in the opening match at the US Open and this year’s Australian Open. Butorac’s results were not so good after Melbourne, he slipped in the ranking. So Timi will try this year in Paris with Alexander Peya.
In the 27-minute first set, the 7th seed Hungarian-Austrian duo immediately lost their serve. But after 0:2 they took the control. Timi and Peya broke to 30 ain the fourth game, and they won again the opponent’s service game after 4:3. This time the Hungarian-Austrian pair broke to 15.
The 7th seeds won the ninth game to 30.
The second set was much more closer. Timi and Peya broke at 2:2, but they couldn’t hold the lead. The Spanish pair broke in the sixth game to 40, then they saved their own service game after 30-40.
The tie-break decided the fate of the second set. Timi and Peya quickly jumped to a 4-0 lead, with two “breaks”. Parra Santonja and Marrero won a rally, but they had no chance after 4-1.
The Hungarian-Austrian duo’s next opponent will be the winner of the Friday’s match between Julie Coin/Nicolas Mahut and Abigail Spears/Scott Lipsky.
