23/05/2014 – The World No. 100 Timea Babos did not reached the singles main draw of the French Open, because she lost in the third qualifying round in two sets against Maryna Zanevska.
The match lasted 1 hour 17 minutes.

“I’m sorry … Unfortunately today my game wasn’t so good, the way I wanted . However, my opponent played very very well …! That’s it… the past few weeks I won many matches, it gives strength for the next tasks” – Timi said .
Zanevska began better the important match, she broke her rival immediately to 30, and led 3:1. The Ukrainian player had another break point, but without success, and it gave Timi the hope. She lived with her second chance, and won her opponent’s serve for 3:3.
Then Zanevska broke the Hungarian youngster, and had a 5:3 lead. Timi equalized for 5:5, but after that she lost her service game again. The Ukrainian player won the next game to 15, and with it the set also finished.
The second set was easier for Zanevska. She broke Timi twice and jumped to a 5:1 lead. The Hungarian player didn’t give up, at 5:2 she had a break point. But Zanevska saved it, then she won the whole match.
