31/05/2012 – Tímea Babos and Hsieh Su-Wei lost in the second round at the French Open against the best team of the season, the fourth seed Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci.

“We played a good match against the world’s best pair. The opponent was very solid from the baseline and at the net as well. We played good tennis; maybe as a receiver our game could have been better. It could have been even closer match. But overall, I can say that this is a good platform for the common future”– Timi said on Thursday after the match.
Errani 8th, while Vinci 9th in the doubles ranking, the Italian duo triumphed in Madrid and Rome. In the 2012 Doubles Race they with a wide margin.
The first set of the second round clash was very close, although the Hungarian-Taiwanese pair did not reach to break point. The Italians, however, had three chances and took one of them.Timi and Hsieh fought bravely, but the opponent’s experience and knowledge proved decisive.
The second set is decided with a quick break, and the Italians took the opponent’s serve one more time. The Tímea Babos-Hsieh Su-Wei duo then reached the first – and last – break point, but could not take advantage of the opportunity. Errani and Vinci soon get the match point and celebrated after the second opportunity.
The 19-year-old Hungarian player finished with appearances in Paris, she lost in the first round in singles and in the second clash in doubles.
