Quick farewell in doubles

22/09/2013 – Timi and Alicja Rosolska in both sets had double break advantage, but lost in two sets.

The second seed Hungarian-Polish duo defeated by Han Xinyun and Miki Miyamura in 1 hour and 30 minutes. The 20-year-old Hungarian player on Monday will meet Yaroslava Shvedova in singles.

In the 51-minute first set, Timi and Rosolska twice broke to 30, pulled away 3:0. Unfortunately, the opponent was found to match the rhythm, at 5:4 saved two set point and levelled as a receiver (5:5). The Hungarian-Polish duo then took their  opponent’s serve again, but Rosolska lost her serve from 30-0…In the tie-break the two Asian quickly gained a huge lead, and later won the set.

 

In the second set Timi and her partner have also led with a doubles breka (4-0), but it was not enough to leveling. Han and Miyamura took away the control, and at 4:4 broke the opponent’s to 40…In the last game the 2nd seeds couldn’t came back, so the match was ended.
