07/02/2015 – Timi lost in three sets against the 2009 US Open quarterfinalist Kateryna Bondarenko in the first round of qualies at the 731 000 USD WTA tournament in Antwerp.
The match lasted one hour and 45 minutes.

The 28-year old Ukrainian player is currently ranked 194th, but her career best was 29 (12 October 2009). In 2009 she was quarterfinalist at the US Open, in 2008 she won the WTA tournament in Birmingham. That same year, she won the women’s doubles at the Australian Open with her sister Alona.
In the 30-minute opening set in Antwerp, Bondarenko served well, and after 4:3 she broke her rival to 30, lived with the third chance. Then the Ukrainian player won the next game to 30.
At the beginning of the 33-minute second set Bondarenko saved a total of 5 break points, she won her service game from 0-40. But after 4:3 Timi had three chances, and she broke the opponent to 30. Then she won the next game to 0.
In the fourth game of the final set Bondarenko broke the Hungarian player, then saved two break points. After 4:1 Timi had no chance to came back. In the last game Bondarenko lost only one rally.
