15/11/2013 – On Monday Timi will began the preparation for the 2014 season.

The World No 87 Hungarian player will spend a significant portion of time to the end of December in France.


On the first day in Hungary Timi will complete, involve in an intellectual and physical assessment.


“I try to at least five times a year to carry out these tests. It is important to me to see my conditions. We look respiratory function, lung capacity, blood. There will be a small test of running, I think that’s about it” – Timi said.


This year, the 20-year old Hungarian player won one ITF singles and five doubles WTA tournaments. She will take the direction to France on Tuesday. Timi will train in Nice for the next season tasks.


“The key is to have a good weather, so I can run outdoors. The tennis center is very modern, with many beautiful court, there is a nice fitness room and good training partners. In the first two weeks there will be mainly running in the program. I am thinking especially of the long distance running to get the endurance. And as we move forward, it will be more tennis, more speed footwork, multipoint game” – added the 20 -year-old tennis player.


Timi as usual will also travel abroad at he end of the year, because the 2014 season will begin at the last days of December.


“My first tournament will be in Shenzhen, China. Then come Sydney, where I likely play in qualies. And come the first Grand Slam tournament, the Australian Open. I look forward to the 2014 season with this year’s experience and good preparation I can hope for a good season . . : D” – Timi concluded.
