New Career High after the WTA Finals

30/10/2017 – Timi is 7th in the doubles world rankings.


In many ways, the 24-year old Hungarian player achieved historical successes in the BNP Paribas WTA Finals in Singapore: she was the first Hungarian player who reached the last four, then triumphed in the semifinal. And on Sunday, she became the first Hungarian World Champion of the WTA Tour.


The triumph also has an impact on the world rankings: Timi has returned to top10, now she is the 7th best doubles player of the World.


This is her new career high and also a Hungarian record. First time, Timi reached the top10 on 8 June, 2015, she was 10th. Then, she was 9th a week later, and 8th on 22 June, 2015.



In singles, Timi is currently 57th.
