The match lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes.
In the 25-minute first set, Kanepi won five game in a row, after 1:1. The Estonian player took her opponent’s serve to 30 and then to 40. Then, after 5:1, she lost no rally behind her own serve.
For much of the second act, Kanepi was more accurate. The Estonian player pulled to 5:1 by breaking to 0 and then to 40 in a big battle. In this game, after 3:1, Timi had a total of four chances to win her serve.
Then, in the seventh game, the Hungarian tennis player saved her serve from a match ball and then broke to 40. Unfortunately, in the ninth game, Kanepi was better again, leading 40-15 as a receiver and closing the match with the third chance.
