After a few weeks of pause, Timi is again a member of top40 in the WTA Rankings, in singles. The 24-year old Hungarian player reached the last match in the hard court tournament, where she was a quarter-finalist, last season.
Thus, in the latest rankings, Timi moved from 44th place to 39th. In this year’s Singles Race she is 20th, last week she was 31st. The Hungarian player remained at the 4th place in doubles, and in 2nd position with Kristina Mladenovic in the Doubles Race.
Timi’s scheduled next tournament will in Rabat, followed by the Madrid and Rome WTA events. After a one week break, came the second Grand Slam of the season, which will be held at the Roland Garros in Paris.
