29/03/2016 – The 4th seed Hungarian-Kazakh pair won in 1 hour and 21 minutes against Casey Dellacqua and Samantha Stosur.

Both member of the Australian pair is also an excellent doubles player . Dellacqua last year reached the final at the Roland Garros and at the US Open with Shvedova and played a total of 6 finals at a Grand Slam event. Now she is ranked 7th. Stosur was a World No1 in doubles, she two Grand Slam finals and played four more.
In Miami the 41-minute first set brought a huge and close battle. Till the ending period, the 4th seed pair had no break point, and they saved two chances of the opponent at 2:2.
After 5:4 the Australian pair saved their service game from 0-40.But at 6:5, Timi and Shvedova again led 40-0 as a receiver, and this time they successfully finished the game and the set!
The first part of the second set was one-sided. Timi and Slava Shvedova broke the opponent twice, they jumped to a 4:0 lead. Then came another two break, one each, so it was 5:1.
And after that Dellacqua and Stosur broke the opponent two more times, so they came back to 5:4. And they served for the equalizer. But Timi and Shvedova won the opponent’s service game to 15, so they finished the match.
The fourth seed pair will meet in the quarter-final the Ukraine double of Kataryna Bondarenko (WTA-54) and Olga Savchuk (WTA-49).
