“I’m very happy to win today! Especially, considering that I confess honestly, I was a bit tired now. Nevertheless, the game went very well. I’m glad, that We managed to win is two easy set. Tomorrow is a free day, because the semifinal will be on Friday. So it will be a little bit of time to recover”– Timi said after the game.

In the 31-minute first set the 4th seeded Hungarian-Kazakh duo won four games in a row after 0:1. They broke the opponent to 30, twice. Unexpectedly, the Ukraine pair won a receiver’s game at 4:2, but it was not enough for a turn-around.

Timi and Shvedova won the next two game to 30. So they closed the opening act.

The second set was more interesting, but without a major change of the picture. Timi and Shvedova broke the opponent to 30, after 1:1. And it was enough.

The Hungarian-Kazakh duo easily hold the break advantage, and after 5:4 they finished the match from 0-15.

In the semifinal Timi and Shvedova will meet Margarita Gasparyan (WTA-52) and Monica Niculescu (WTA-32). The Russian-Romanian pair defeated (6:4, 6:2) in the second round the title holder and World No1 double of Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza.
