“We’re a good team with Lucie ! I’m sorry that we can not play together in Melbourne too! We are playing smiling matches, but of course the victory is our goal. After Lucie’s today’s singles match I was worried that she is tired. She told me to help her a lot at the net : D And I listened to it and played very well. I hit a lot of aces, my returns were good, so I’m absolutely happy with my game today. I see that every day I play better tennis. I look forward to the Australian Open, but i hope, we will have a few matches here :D” – Timi said happily after the quarter-final in Sydney.

“It was a solid match from both players. Lucie and Timea played much better doubles then in the first round. They jelled together and it seems like that enjoyed being on the court. I am happy with Timi’s improvement over last few days after the illness. We spent on average 4-5 hours per day training and it is paying off. Her serves and returns were good and that is giving us right to hope that she will keep raising her level. Tomorrow they are playing semis and I hope they will maintain the same mindset. Good result today, but it is even more important that she played better and that she is continually improving” – rated the Hungarian player’s coach Nikola Andjelic.
