On Monday late afternoon, it was decided which pair would be the opponent for Timi and Kristina Mladenovic in the 2nd round of the doubles tournament at the 6 685 828 USD Mutua Madrid Open. The Hungarian-French double is seeded 3rd in the Spanish capital, thus the got BYE for the opening round.
