The match lasted 2 hour and 44 minutes.

 

At the start of the first 44-minute opening set, Bara, who came with two wins from the qualifiers, saved two break points, and then, after 2: 2, broke to 40, with the second chance. After that, the Romanian player surely keep her lead, and in the ninth game she won her opponent’s serve to 30.

 

In the 53-minute second act, up to 4:3, both players brought their serve, and then Bara broke to 30, taking the third chance. Timi responded immediately, taking her opponent’s serve to 15, and the tie-break soon followed.

 

Int he tie-break, Bara led 2-1 with a receiving point and after that the Hungarian player won six rallies in a row. That’s how the deciding set came.

 

The third game of the third set brought a huge battle, unfortunately with Romanian success. Timi had a total of five game point, but she didn’t lived with the chances. Bara had three break points, finally taking the last opportunity…

 

Soon the Romanian led 3-2 when Timi asked for medical time-out. The match resumed a few minutes later, but Bara gave no chance to translate. The Hungarian player brought her own service games, but after 4:5 won only two balls as a receiver.
