The match lasted 52 minutes in Seoul.

 

In the 26-minute opening act, the Hungarian player, ranked 1st in the qualifier, broke to 40 in the opening game. The local player led 40-15, with four game points in total. Shin brought her serve after 2:0, then Timi broke twice to 30, second time after 5:1.

 

In the second act, the Hungarian player first won her opponent’s serve after 2:1, then came the only tight service game. Shin reached 40-40 and had no chance after that.

 

In the sixth game, Timi lost a single rally as a receiver and then closed the match with her own serve.

 

The next opponent of the Hungarian player will be Jaqueline Adina Cristian.

 

The Romanian player (born: 5 June, 1998) is 213rd in the World Rankings and has a career best position of 201th (19 March, 2018). Cristian has so far won 9 ITF tournaments in singles.
