It’s the sixth! Timi & Krajicek won in Suzhou

10/08/2013 – She have the sixth! Timi and Michaella Krajicek very smoothly won the doubles finals of the 125 000 USD WTA tournament in Suzhou.

The match lasted 66 minutes. The 20-year-old Hungarian player so far triumphed once in singles (2012: Monterrey), and four times in doubles (2012 Birmingham, 2013 in Bogotá, Monterrey, Marrakech).

“I am very happy with the win! I was a very hard week, too, but I’m happy that i had good maches. I’m sorry that I could not had better result in singles, but the doubles gave a little make up. Thanks for your support all week 🙂 “- Timi said.


The Chinese, Japanese double in Friday’s semi-finals losing just three games against the first seeds, meanwhile Timi and her Dutch partner reached the final without losing a set in the previous meetings.


Saturday’s grand final lacked the excitement! Timi and Michaella Krajicek dominated the whole match, the opponent couldn’t reached a break point! Even that 40-40 could mean that for the receivers…


Int he 33-minute opening set the The Hungarian-Dutch couple broke first time after 1:1 and repeated i tat 4:2. Int he eight game Krajicek easily finished the set at her own serve.


At the beginning of the second set Timi and Krajicek again took the Asians service game! The opponent’s tried everything, but had no chance to draw level. In the fifth game the Hungarian-Dutch duo again broke the rival, it’s all settled permanently.


The last game was easy, without any excitement! Timi and Michaella Krajicek fully deserved the title, they dominated the whole doubles tournament in Suzhou.
