The 57-minute first set was very exciting and eventful. Timi played well, she never lost her service game! Unfortunately, the opponent broke twice Jelena Jankovic, it turned out to be crucial …
The Hungarian-Serbian pair fought bravely, they came back twice from break down, and had set point at 6:5 40-40. But Peschke saved it with an ace, and the fourth seeds won the close tie-break.
At the beginning of the second set Peschke and Srebotnik immediately had a break advantage, and pulled away to 4:1. But Timi and Jankovic did not give up, they hold the service game from 30-40 and after that they broke the rival. However, in the eighth game Peschke and Srebotnik broke again (5:3).
In the last game the Hungarian-Serbian duo had three break point, but they couldn’t lived with them…
