“I am very happy That I was able to turn around again a seemingly lost match, the crowd helped me a lot. Konta played very well organized, and for a long time I returned her serves from wrong places. Clearly positive, that I managed to get back at the last moment with a break. After that, I put her service games under pressure. I feel like that from the end of the second set I played very well till the end of the doubles. The doubles was also difficult match because our opponent played true doubles the game , not like the Latvians on Friday. The British duo served well, they played well at the the net and it was dangerous . I am pleased that in the last three days I played a lot of matches and sometimes I provided a good performance. It’s important to play high level for more time” – Timi said.

In the opening match of the day Réka Jani played well against Heather Watson, but the British youngster took the control at the end of the first set. She broke her opponent at 4.4, and after that she dominated the game.

Timi started better against Konta, than in the first two matches. But at 2:2 the Hungarian player made mistakes, and she lost her service game. Konta hold her advantage, and won the opening act.

The second set was dramatic! Until 5:5 both players won their service games, but then Timi lost her own…Konta served for the victory, but couldn’t hold her rival. Until it the Hungarian youngster had no break points, so she survived surprisingly.

At the tie-break Konta had a 5-1 lead, but then came the turnaround. Timi played fantastically, she won six points in a row!!!

In the final set Konta had an injury break at 2:1, and after it she lost her service game at 2:2. Timi didn’t gave a chance for an another turnaround, she hold the lead and won the last game from two break points!

The doubles match was also very exciting and has developed a nice result. Both duo unveiled a series of spectacular solutions. In the final set the Hungarians broke the rival at 4:3 and Timi served out the match, lived with the fifth match point.
