The match lasted one hour and 22 minutes.

 

In January Timi won 6:3, 6:2 won against Rodina in Shenzhen and this time she was the better player, also. She advanced to the second round confidently.

 

In the 34-minute opening act the Hungarian youngster began with an early break after 2:1. But her opponent came back immediately, Rodina broke to 40. It didn’t disturbe Timi, who went to a 5:2, broke the Russian opponent to 30, then hold her serve after 15-40.

 

After 5:3, the Hungarian youngster won her service game to 30, so she finished the set.

 

In the second act Rodina saved two break points in the opening game, and she came back with an immediate break after 2:1…But after that, Timi played much better.

 

The Hungarian youngster broke her opponent at 3:3, and had a match point after 5:3, as a receiver. Rodina won that game, when came the rain. After the short interval, Timi easily won her service game, and the match.

 

The Hungarian player’s next opponent will the World No127, Jennifer Brady. This is the career high position for the 21-year old US-player. So far, Brady has won 4 ITF tournament in singles. This year she celebrated twice: she remained unbeaten a few gays ago in Granby (Canada, 50 000 USD, hard court), while in May at Indian Harbour Beach (United States, 75 000 USD, hard court).
