05/02/2015 – Serbia won 2-1 against Hungary in the Group A at the Fed Cup Euro African zone Group I in Budapest.
The home team’s victory came in doubles, after Ivana Jorovic defeated Dalma Gálfi and Alexandra Krunic won against Tímea Babos.

“I am very sad that I’m have failed to win. But I feel like I did everything I could to win. It was not easy to play after Dalma’s match, I apparently felt a little pressure. Of course, this does not excuse, because I had a good chance to win. I wanted to play well at home, I hope tomorrow will be better. Thanks for the support!” said Timi after the singles match.
In the opening set of the singles Krunic broke her rival after 2:2, but she immediately lost that lead. In the eight game the Serbian player hold her serve after 0-40 and it was decisive. In the tie-break she had a constant lead, and she broke Timi’s serve after 6-6. And Krunic won the next rally behind her serve…
In the second set the 21-year old Hungarian played much better, then her rival. She hold all the services and broke Krunic three times. So came the final act.
At the beginning of the third set the Serbian player broke Timi and jumped to a 3:1 lead. The local player came back to 3:3, then saved two match points at 5:4. After that Timi broke her rival, but she lost the next service game. So came to second tie-break.
In the tie-break Krunic won her rival’s service at 5-5, then she hold her service to won the whole match.
