Eastbourne: Radwańska’s victory

25/06/2018 – The former Wimbledon finalist came back from a break in the opening set, then won easily in the second act.

The match lasted 67 minutes in Eastbourne.

 

The Hungarian player started well the 38-minute first set, unfortunately the sequel was almost ineffective.

 

Timi won the 2012 Wimbledon finalist’s serve to 30 in the fifth game, but after that, she won only two rallies in her own game. Then Agnieszka Radwańska became very confident, she lost only one point in the next three games.

 

The second act was one-sided…The 2015 WTA Finals Champ pulled to a 5:0 lead, she broke her opponent to 30, 40 and then again to 30. Timi lost a single rally as a receiver at 0:5, but afterwards she lost her serve again to 30.
