08/08/2015 – Yaroslava Shvedova won in two sets against Timi in the opening round of the qualies at the 2 513 000 USD WTA event in Toronto.
The match lasted 1 hour 32 minutes at the Rogers Cup.

Unfortunately, the Hungarian youngster did not start well the second part of the season after her short summer break…Although she had a good chance, especially in the first set.
Timi saved a break point in opening game, then she had a huge opportunity after 3:2. She had a total of 6 (!!!) break points, but without success. And later in turned decisive…
Shvedova broke her opponent after 5:5, but she lost the next service game. In the tie-break Timi led twice with a brak, but after 4-2 she lost three points, two as a server. She equalized as a receiver, but the Kazakh player won the next two point and the 64-minute first set.
Timi began the second set with a break, but after 1:0, 40-15 she totally lost her game. Shvedova broke three times, she easily advanced to the next round…
