16/10/2015 – The 3rd seed Karolina Pliskova won in 62 minutes at the Tianjin Open.

“Unfortunately, today’s match was not a success…I had a lot of opportunity, I had break points, etc…Big mistake, if you didn’t live with the chances against a top player. I’m sorry, because I felt the game went well. But I solved badly the important situations today. Overall, it was not that bad a week, thanks for your support” – said Timi.
Before the US Open, in the second round at Cintinnati the Czech player won 6:4, 7:5 against Timi. This time Pliskova was more careful and she celebrated az easier success.
In the 31-minute first set Timi had first a break points, but she couldn’t lived with it at 2:1. And it was crucial…Pliskova won her opponent service game after 2:2, and she hold her serve in the sixth game from 0-40.
At the end of the set the Czech player won her serve to 30, at 5:3.
In the second set, Timi kept her opponent till 2:2. But after that, the more routine opponent played better and better. Pliskova broke her Hungarian rival twice, and finished the match as a receiver. At the end, Timi saved two match point, but the third chance was crucial.
