Defeat in the QF in Rome

13/05/2016 – In the opening set the Hungarian-Kazakh double led with a break, but after that the opponent served and received better.

The match lasted 1 hour and 31 minutes.


The Hungarian-Kazakh pair served well in the first part of the 54-minute opening set. They saved two break points at 1:1, and they broke the opponent after 3:2. They led 4:2 and 40-15, but the Romanian pair won that game…And they fought for the tie-break.


In the tie-break, Begu and Niculescu played better. They served and received well, and it was enough for the opening act.


The second set was easier for Begu and Niculescu. They had an early break advantage, and they hold that. At 4:2, they hold their service game from 0-30, then they won the last game easily, to 15.
