05/05/2016 – The pair of Garcia and Mladenovic lived much better with the break chances in the Spanish capital.

The match lasted 69 minutes.
The lot more accustomed French pair (they played together from the beginning of the season) always was one step ahead in the quarter-final. In the 38-minute first set Timi and Shvedova came back from 0:2 to 3:2, but then again, Garcia and Mladenovic was better. The decisive game was after 4:3, when the French pair hold their service game from 0-40.
In the last game of the opening act the 5th seed double won to 15.
In the second set Timi and Svedova lost their service game to at 2:2. And after that, it was no turning back. In the end, Garcia and Mladenovic broke to 15, so they easily closed the match.
Next week, Timi will play in Rome in singles and in doubles with Yaroslava Shvedova. In 2015 the Hungarian youngster won the doubles event with Mladenovic.
