26/02/2014 – Timea Babos and Jarmila Gajdosova lost a three setter match in the doubles quarter-final against Julia Glushko and Paula Kania at the Brasil Tennis Cup in Florianopolis.
The match lasted 1 hour 28 minutes.

Timi and Gajdosova started well, with a break, but they were able to keep the lead for only a short period of time. The Israeli-Polish duo broke back at 2:1, to 15, then came the sixth break point a little later. The Hungarian-Australian duo saved this and then broke the rival to 30.
That advantage lasted even less time , but after 4:4 Timi and her partner lost only one point.
In the second set the Hungarian-Australian pair won the rival’s service game at 1.1, but then unfortunately Glushko and Kania took over the control . The Israeli-Polish duo jumped to a 4:2 lead, and after two breaks they won the ninth game from 15-40…
The final tie-break was unfortunately one-sided … Timi and Gajdosova won the first point, but after that the opponent had the upper hand. Glushko and Kania received very well the rival’s serves, they won with a huge margin and advanced to the semifinal.
