15/06/2013 – Timi lost in the first round of the qualifying tournament in Eastbourne at the Aegon International (690 000 USD) against Lara Arruabarrena.

In the 37-minute first set Timi fought hard to keep up with her opponent, but unfortunately in the end, she lost. The World No 82 Arruabarrena broke her rival in the first game, although the young Hungarian had three game point.
Timi immediately broke back, but the Spaniard won her service game again at 2:2. The Hungarian saved a set point at 5:3, but had no chance in the next game.
Arruabarrena had again a break point in the first game of the second set, but Timi saved it and broke in the next game. The 20-year olad Hungarian pulled away to 3:0. Then Timi had a 4:1 lead, by that time Arruabarrena had five break points, but fortunately without success.
Finally, after 4:2 the Spaniard won Timi’s serve, and then saved a break point (4:4). Arruabarrena broke again int the next game and then easily advanced to the second round.
