Croatian coach in the Timi Team

With an unlimited contract, the 40-year old Nick Horvat will be the coach of Timi in the future. The Croatian expert will began his work in Linz, then he will be peresent in Luxembourg, also.


“A long period has ended, the new chapter will be even more successful. My new staff will be Nick Horvat as coach, Ádám Kellner as a sparing partner, and Csaba Kapuvári as a fitness coach. I’m looking forward to the rest of the year, I’m full of energy, we’re moving forward” – said Timi.


Nikola (Nick) Horvat (born: 15 July, 1978) worked in 2006 and 2008 as an assistant coach and sparing partner of the former Top 10 player, Mario Ancić. In 2007 he was captain of the Croatian Hopman Cup team. From 2008 to 2013 he worked as a national coach with the junior team, including Borna Ćorić. In the 2016 and 2017 season he was the coach of Donna Vekić, who stepped forward from the 109th place in the world ranking to career best position of 45th. He graduated at the University of Zagreb.
