06/11/2014 – Timi and Kristina Mladenovic won in two sets against Lyudmila Kichenok and Nadiiya Kichenok in the doubles quarterfinal at the 125 000 USD WTA tournament in Limoges.
The match lasted 59 minutes. The first seed Hungarian-French pair will meet Lara Arruabarrena and Olga Kalashnikova in the semifinal.

The Kichenok Sisters started better the 31-minute first set: they broke Timi to 40, then led 2:0. After that the Wimbledon finalist took control, they broke back at 2:1.
The fate of the set was decided in the eight game: Timi and Mladenovic easily won the opponents serve, and then the Hungarian player won her own service game to 15.
At the beginning of the second set the Hungarian-French duo broke to 15, then they led 3:2. In the sixth game Timi saved two break points and this was crucial.
The Ukrainian double came back to 4:3, but after 5:3 they couldn’t hold their service game. Timi and Mladenovic broke to 15 in the last game and easily reached the semifinal in Limoges.
The first seed Hungarian-French pair will meet Lara Arruabarrena and Olga Kalashnikova in the last four.
The 22-year-old Spanish player is ranked 64th, this is her career best. Arruabarrena won 3 WTA- and8 ITF doubles competition. This year, she celebrated in Bogota (250,000 USD, Co: Caroline Garcia) and Seoul (500,000 USD, Co: Irina-Camelia Begu) and also in Bogota (100,000 USD, Co: Florencia Molinero).
The 24-year old Kalashnikova is ranked 73rd, her career best was 47 (30 September 2013). So far she has won one WTA- and 24 ITF doubles events. This year she was a finalist in Istanbul (250 000 USD, Co: Paula Kania).
