The match took 1 hour and 13 minutes.

 

In the 33-minute opening act, the Hungarian-French team saved the own game from 30-40. Until 5:4 no pair reached for a break point, but then the ice broke. Timi and Kristina Mladenovic had a set and break point at 40-40, and they won it.

 

The second set was also tight. The 1st seeded pair broke the opponent to 15 in the second game, but this advantage could not be maintained. In the fifth game, after 3:1, King and Srebotnik broke to 40, after Timi and Kristina Mladenovic led 40-15.
