08/03/2017 – Due to the withdrawal of Serena Williams, Timi’s opponent will be Varvara Lepchenko or Yaroslava Shvedova.


The 23-year old Hungarian player is ranked 28th, so she is seeded 25th at the 6 993 450 USD WTA event called BNP Paribas Open.


After making the draw, the World NO1 Serena Williams withdraw from the tournament due to knee injury. After that, the main draw was changed at Indian Wells. Timi got a BYE for the first round, then she will meet Varvara Lepchenko or Yaroslava Shvedova in the second round.
