The match lasted 1 hour 10 minutes in Beijing.

In the 35-minute first set, the Chinese player led 5:0, she won Timi’s serve to 40, and to 0. In the sixth game, Zhang had a set point as a receiver, but eventually the result was changed to 5:1. In the next game, the Hungarian player saved another four set point, but later the opponent finished the opening act with the sixth set point.
