In the 29-minute opening act, Potapova led 3:0, breaking her opponent to 0 in the second game. Then Timi improved, bud had no chance for the comeback. And in the sixth game, Potapova lost no rally as a receiver, finishing the first set.
In the second act, Timi won her opponent’s serve to 3 after 1:1, and had another break point in the fifth game. This time, without success. Then, the Hungarian player saved her own game from a break point to a 4:2, but after that Potapova was better again.
The Russian player broke twice, and advance to Round 3.
