The match lasted 1 hour and 14 minutes in Melbourne.

“It was a hard and long day. But the most imortant is the two victory. I’m glad with this was because I had to fight for the successes. I’d start the report with the Women’s Doubles: the first set was difficult, the opponent played strange tennis, We had to get used to it. We were too nervous. From the second set We played very well. I’m happy, it was an important victory! Mentally, it means a lot to get back in this way. I can say boldly about the Mixed Doubles: it was a high quality game. Obviously I’m happy to play with Márton Fucsovics. He said he was a little excited at the beginning, but my good mood was overwhelmed by this. I think We won against a very good pair with good performance. I’m not going to play on Sunday, but We’ll train with Marci, so I’m looking forward to that!” – Timi said.

In the first 27-minute set, the Chinese-Australian pair had first a break point, but after 1:0 they couldn’t take advantage of the chance. After 2:2, Timi and Márton Fucsovics won the opponent’s serve to 15, then led 40-15 in the seventh game. Zhang and Peers saved the three break points, but after 5:3 they won only three rallies.

The 35-minute second set brought a turn. The Chinese-Australian broke at 1:1, then at 3:3. The Hungarian pair could only react successfully to the first one, so soon came the third set, with a match tie-break.

Till 3:3, both doubles were successful behind the serves, and then many breaks came. Timi and Marci le dall the way, but they lost two serves after 7-4. Luckily, the Hungarian pair won two receiver’s point, and Fucsovics finished the match with his second serve.
