“This day was very long, it was not easy … I obviously regret the singles final! But at the beginning of the week I thought and said it would be a good thing and I would accept it if I reach the final. Of course, afterwards I was a bit angry and sad, because there was a chance in my hand. But that’s the way it is. I feel this is a very good result! It was obviously not easy this week, to compete without My coach. But I’m glad with these results, that I fought well. It was difficult and I had a lot of matches, which made it hard. The doubles was so important on the road for the Singapore WTA Finals. That was the goal, the tournament victory! We are satisfied, we are very happy about it” – “said Timi.
