24/04/2014 – The fourth seed Timea Babos did not get into the quarter-final of the 50 000 USD ITF tournament in Seoul , after losing the three-set match against Storm Sanders.
The meeting lasted two hours and 15 minutes.

In the first part of the 62-minute opening set Timi was almost constantly at a disadvantage. She lost her service game three times, but she “came back”. After 4:4 both player hold serve, so the tie-break decided.
In the tie-break Timi fought back from 5-6!
In the 37-minute second set Sanders was the better…She broke her opponent after 3:2, and confidently hold that lead. At 5:3 the Australian teen won her service game to 15.
At the beginning of the final set Timi had three break point, but without success. So it was 1:1 instead of 2:0…Then Sanders easily broke the fourth seed and had a 4:2. Timi came back to 4:4, but after that she had no chance. She easily lost the next service game, then the whole match…
The Hungarian youngster next week will play in Japan, in the 75 000 USD ITF-event in Gifu.
